A utility provider has introduced digital employee terminals to enhance internal communication. These terminals act as central information hubs for both employees and visitors.

The terminals contain two areas: a freely accessible guest area and a password-protected employee area. The guest area provides general information such as safety instructions, job vacancies and guest WLAN access. In the employee area, employees can access personal data, calendar information and tools for room and vehicle bookings.

Different information and welcome texts are displayed at each location. In addition, external software solutions such as room and vehicle booking systems can be seamlessly integrated.

The terminals help to increase efficiency and improve communication by providing a centralised and easily accessible information platform. The positive response from employees has prompted E.DIS Netz GmbH to plan an expansion of the terminals.
